‘I guess I’m just very proud of him for being able to come back home. And isn’t he a genius dog!!!’: Cheeky canine seriously scares owner after unlocking front door and going on a neighborhood solo stroll, returning moments before the pawrent went mad

When you leave the house in the morning to go to work you check for your phone, wallet and keys and of course try to remember over the course of ten different tries whether or not you locked the front door. But no matter how put together you might try to be, there will inevitably come a time when you find yourself slipping up. Now if you were to forget your phone, nothing all too bad will happen, but if what you have forgotten is to lock the door, then you might be getting into some doggo trouble. Which is what happened to the devoted doggo pawrent in this story who almost had a heart attack when they came home to find that their canine child had escaped.

A heart breaking moment for any dog lover, to realize that even with all the thought, effort and care you put into protecting your pupper you have slipped up and failed. Thankfully, the escaped doggo was not on a mission to run away, but simply to have himself a little adventure around the neighborhood. An adventure which he would apparently quickly tire off as soon after his pawrent began to panic, the doggo brought itself home. A happy and wholesome ending for all involved thankfully.

  • Wow, this level of dedication and devotion is one that is not normally seen in such young dog pawrents. That being said, this pawrent had to do a whole lot of growing up early on in life, by the sounds of it. But regardless of the young person’s age, it is incredibly commendable that they would put their own interests on hold while making sure their dog child was cared for.
